Mermaids for Future

was initiated by Catrine, teacher, artist and diver from Berlin. As an experienced diver and passionate apnea trainee she started organizing mermaiding courses, events and seminars, combining it with underwater photography, creative designs and personal shootings in several aquatic environments. Combining the exciting experience of mermaiding with artwork and the Green Idea, Mermaids-for-Future is  a unique project, aiming to create a sustainable profile of offering a mindful aquatic adventure for everyone who likes to become a mermaid, siren, aquaman or any other type of merfolk. 

Meanwhile the project developed and we became a group of professionals and volunteers. To help maintaining a high quality and a vivid development mermaids-for-future is well connected and coworking with related services and organizations. 

About Catherine:  

  • advanced diver (cmas and padi) 
  • Examined teacher (university degree)
  •  more than 20 years professional work with children and adults including disabled people
  •  rescue swimmer (Dlrg Germany)
  • certified mermaid (apnea academia)
  • Photographer with profound academic background
We have deliberately planned the steps within our programs according to our experience with many mermaids of various ages and levels. Our activity programs follow a certain order to achieve the best results providing knowledge and focus on individual development. It is your individual challenge and we design it according to your personal needs. Our goal is to make it a great and unforgettable experience . We hope to connect you with the sea. We like to get to know any new merfolk characters and friends of the ocean . And we love to add new aspects, colors and silhouettes to the project.

Networking:
To guarantee quality and to present a round package I am coworking with
other organisations, professionals and services.

- Dive schools, dive instructors and local dive bases (local offices and
training bases in Gran Canaria, Puerto de Mogan and Puerto Rico).
- Photographers, underwater photography colleagues and digital artists.

Fuerteventura).
