Become a mermaid: Choose the Basic or the Pro Package or become a piece of Art
The Basic Package includes introduction into mermaiding, a beach photoshoot and your first try in a monofin - a safe and fun mermaid experience in the calm water.
Who can do it? Anyone can! The Basic Package is the right choice for beginners. You will have a lot of fun in the shallow water and make a great new experience if it is your first try in a monofin.It is essential to be a competent swimmer if you want to explore the deeper waters.
The Pro Package includes apnea training, underwater make up and model tips as well as underwater photoshoot.
Who can do it? The Pro package caters for excellent, advanced swimmers who have completed the basic course or have other experiences in aiding or apnea diving.
Short description of the BASIC Course (beginners):
This is what to expect:
🧜♀️ Introduction: We share information about mermaiding and other merfolk, monofin swimming, free diving and the natural characteristics of our local spot. You will be asked about your experiences, abilities and wishes so the activity can be designed towards your individual talents and goals and to ensure safety in the water.
🧜♀️ Providing outfit and gear: You choose fin and costume, accessories and make up, selecting color and size of the fin. We provide you with all you need including mask, water-resistant and underwater make-up.
🧜♀️ Body warm-up: Together we do selected fitness exercises to help your body feel soft and move like a fish when in the water. You will become confident with some basic, easy-to-learn and safe apnea techniques.
🧜♀️ Make up and photoshoot: Get ready: Time to put on make up, hair and top. Then grasp your fin and costume and we will do your photoshoot by the beach. Choose your poses and backgrounds.
🧜♀️ Your mermaid experience in the water: You will love it! Swim and dive freely or ask for instruction until you feel comfortable. You will be assisted or you will take your time exploring the wonderful mermaid/aquaman feeling individually. Enjoy, be creative, feel free
🧜♀️ Receive your photos : a diploma and a little gift from the sea. Thank you for joining! You are welcome to continue your experience and do an advanced activity, stay in touch or join us.
The pro version will be held in a similar way, but the content is broader and deeper concerning apnea training, body work and additionally you will be trained how to model perfectly underwater. Underwater makeup is included as well. You will get some preparation to practice before and experience some useful exercises for your underwater mermaid adventure and photoshoot. The Pro Package includes three edited underwater pictures. And of course, any Pro-pPackage participant will receive a little gift from the sea in exchange for picking up three little pieces of plastic garbage from the environment.
! A word about this: Our beach at Puerto de Mogan is usually quite clean and well organized - but even here there's always something to clean up!
However: everything will be provided for you.
You probably feel comfortable to bring your own bathing clothes and towel.
